PowerArt! 2024 Public Art Project:  My painting, Daybreak, was on of 11 works selected by jury and then public vote. PowerArt! is an ongoing public art project that wraps the traffic signal boxes in downtown Ann Arbor with vinyl-printed replicas of local artists' work.

Daybreak will be installed at the corner of S. Seventh and Pauline.  I'll let you know once it's been installed. What a fun and beautiful way to brighten the city and reduce graffiti.

Holiday Show - Adrian Center for the Arts (ACA)- Market opens: Saturday, November 30, 12 pm-6 pm

Many of my watercolors and limited edition prints are part of the Holiday Market at ACA.  You'll find a range of media including paintings, glass, ceramic works, photography, woven and dyed scarves, felted works, glass and metal jewelry, Christmas ornaments, sculpture, fused, slumped and blown glass. Wide range of prices and styles. You are sure to find the special gift and support visual art and ACA artists. 

While in Adrian, head to the historic downtown. My work is also on display at the Crosswell Opera House in Adrian. It has a cozy cocktail lounge. Drop by for a sip and snack and enjoy the artwork too. The paintings will be on view through December 2024.

Women In Watercolor (WIW) 2024 International Juried Competition: What a thrill and honor to learn that Serendipity (see photo above) was juried into this prestigious watercolor exhibit and received an "Honorable Mention" award. The competition had over 1970 submissions from 62 countries. 264 paintings were juried into the show. 

My deepest thanks to the panel of jurors: Lynn D. Pratt, Lana Privitera, Lorraine Watry, Lorraine Simonds, Lisa Wang, Núria Riera, Janine Gallizia and Carrie Waller.

Art Around Saline 2024: Saline Arts & Culture has been so kind to juror one my paintings for Art Around Saline this year. A 6 ft x 4 ft print of Daybreak will be displayed outside this summer. It can be found on Ann Arbor St., just south of Michigan Ave.

​Art Around Saline 2022 - A 6 ft x 4 ft print of my Jellyfish watercolor (Jellies) was one of six works accepted for community display. It's been moved recently to make room for the 2024 entries. Happily, it will be displayed at Saline City Hall .
